MISSION UPDATE

Dear people of God,

Greetings!

Thank you for visiting our website. We are a Global Mission Nepal network fulfilling the Great Commission Through Church Planting (Matthews 28:19-20)

Global Mission Nepal was launched in 2014 to reach the unreached Nepali people locally and globally. Today, there are 139 total churches in Nepal and one church plant in Charlotte, North Carolina.

While the world was paralysed by Covid-19, God enabled us to train local missionaries, plant 23 new churches in Nepal and provide 2600 impoverished families, food as part of our humanitarian efforts in 2020-21.

We thank God for 2021 and expect manifold blessings in 2022 happening these days.

 

HERE'S WHAT WE DID THIS YEAR IN 2022

  • We have shared the gospel with 32,417 people and 2,840 people accepted Christ as their Lord and saviour. Sharing the good news resulted in sixty new churches in Nepal. 

  • In June, 193 church planters and their spouses joined a two-day retreat that was held in Kathmandu.

  • In May, 45 of our Women’s Leadership members, from all over Nepal came together for  a two-day retreat for fellowship, encouragement, and to be equipped. 

  • In March, we had five regional church planter retreats. We focused on strengthening our pastors, on how to fulfils the Great Commission, and how to recruit new church planters.

  • There have been ongoing ministries training for children ministry, youth ministry, women ministry, and church planters.

  • We helped to fund and build ten churches in Nepal.

HERE IS WHAT WE PLAN TO DO IN 2023:

  • We will plant 42 churches. 
  • We will support thirteen national coordinators.
  • We support 7 church planting coordinators.
  • We will provide training for ministries as needed in the most hostile areas of Nepal. For youth and children’s ministries, human trafficking ministries, humanitarian needs, slum and after school ministries for children. 
  • We will help partially fund ten new church constructions for 2023.

  

Romans 10:14-15 says, “How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in him of whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without someone preaching? And how are they to preach unless they are sent? As it is written, “How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the good news.”

 

HERE IS HOW YOU CAN SUPPORT US


1.     PLEASE PRAY FOR US. “Jesus said, “The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field.” (Luke 10:2).

 

2.     GO ON ONE OF OUR MISSION TRIPS. Jesus commissioned us. “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” (Matthew 28:19-20)

 

3.     FINANCIAL SUPPORT. Give generously. “Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.” (2 Corinthians 9:7)

Give sacrificially. “For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.” (John 3:16)

Without your prayer and support, we would not be able to continue to do the work we have been doing. With your support, work beyond our imagination is happening. 

We pray and trust the Lord, that He will speak to you and guide you as you continue to give sacrificially to reach the unreached people in Nepal.
