Global Mission Nepal was born out of the vision to see a movement of the Gospel sweep through the Nepalese population around the world. This vision, which was born three years ago, is being realized today and has birthed a strategic mission to Nepal and South Asia where nearly three billion people reside and where the most concentrated amount of unreached peoples remain. Throughout this region, millions have never heard the name Jesus, never worshiped or known Him as Savior and Redeemer, have never read His Word.
Our hearts long to see Jesus worshiped and enjoyed by the Nepalese around the world. Every aspect of our ministry efforts and resources are dedicated to that end.
Global Mission Nepal’s primary work is to be a catalyst for an indigenous church-planting movement spreading throughout Nepal and South Asia. Therefore, we believe that wise stewardship of our resources — our time, training, and finances — leads us to planting churches. The spiritual need is immense but is fertile ground to plant Kingdom gatherings through which the blessings of God can be displayed and enjoyed throughout Nepal.
Our vision for all of our churches is that every church is a planting church. It isn't a matter of addition -- it is a matter of multiplication. Join us in our mission to see 100 churches planted in Nepal by 2018!
Pastoral and leadership development are two of the most urgent needs in Nepal. The church is hungry for the Word of God, solid teaching, and strong leaders. However, there are few resources for the church to turn to in order to develop new leaders and to grow deeper in the Word of God.
Global Mission Nepal works to establish consistent leadership development. We want to see the church grow, not just numerically, but deeper in maturity, faith, boldness, and the knowledge of Jesus Christ.
Theological study outside of Nepal is not possible for many students because of financial problems and already being engaged in ministry. Therefore good theological institutions and education means in Nepal are imperative. While the church growth in Nepal has been amazing -- and consistent -- many of the pastors and leaders are without any theological or Bible training. Additionally, with the rise of cults, it is important for leaders to be well equipped in being able to defend, proclaim, and grow in what they believe and to train others to do the same.
Therefore, Global Mission Nepal works to make solid Biblical and affordable theological education accessible to pastors and lay leaders in a manner that allows them to receive ongoing quality theological education.
In light of the two massive earthquakes that struck Nepal in 2015, Global Mission Nepal has organized ongoing efforts to administer whatever relief and assistance is needed in the most gravely affected areas. Our teams consistently deliver basic necessities to areas that have been devastated by the earthquakes. Global Mission Nepal teams have delivered items such as rice, water filtration devices, blankets, and building supplies to help to rebuild communities wiped out by the earthquakes.
